Hurley intern found dead in San Diego alley
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—The body of a 23-year-old Hurley International intern was found wrapped in a blanket in an alley in San Diego, where he had been attending a sports trade show, police said Wednesday. Dane Chandler Williams of Huntington Beach was last seen at a bar early Saturday in San Diego's trendy Gaslamp Quarter. Friends and family began searching for him Saturday afternoon when he did not report to work at the Action Sports Retailers Tradeshow at the San Diego Convention Center, said Lt. Kevin Rooney of the San Diego police homicide unit. Williams' fully clothed body was found around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in an alley seven miles away from where he was last seen and investigators believe it was moved there after Williams died, Rooney said. Apple ushered in a new addition to its music player offerings Wednesday, with a touch-interface widescreen iPod that resembles the company's popular iPhone. Like the mobile phone, the iPod touch is controlled by buttons and features wireless networking capabilities. “When we introduced the iPhone in January, we said it was the best iPod ever," Apple CEO Steve Jobs said at a press event introducing the iPod touch. “It's incredible, with its multitouch UI, its incredible album artwork and video, it is the best iPod ever. And people have been wondering, when are we going to bring this tech to the iPod? The answer is, we're going to do it today."
