Fighterrr8 includes a voiceover saying "happy slap TV", and shows Mr Alizada running up to a boy playing football in the park and hitting him in the head. In a clip that features the group of youths calling themselves IVS riding on the top of a bus, Mr Alizada - aka Fighterrr - is mentioned by name and makes a gun gesture at the camera with his hand. Other clips of the IVS gang show them involved in fights with other groups of youths. The initals IVS apparently stand for Invincible Soldiers. One of the brawls takes place at a bus stop in which most of the people involved are wearing school uniform and another happens in a park. Mr Alizada, who came to the area from Afghanistan, was a pupil at Abbey Wood School, Eynsham Drive, Abbey Wood, until July 2006.
CES: Vendors tune 802.11n devices to meet networking demands
Editor's Note: The following article is reprinted from Network World. One of the surprises to emerge from CES 2008 is the idea that the 802.11n wireless LAN standard just isn't good enough. Most if not all of the wireless chip makers are going above and beyond the IEEE standard to fine tune their 11n silicon to create a much more stable, better behaved and predictable signal than that found in today's wireless LAN gear. WLAN equipment vendors (compare enterprise WLAN products) are investing a lot of cash and engineering expertise toward the same end, in the products they wrap around those chips. Much of that fine-tuning is being driven by the conviction that 11n will be the medium of choice for wirelessly streaming audio and especially video, in support of what Cisco CEO John Chambers has dubbed “visual networking." Beyond basic networking Network users in homes, home offices and small businesses are moving beyond basic wireless networking, says Phillip Pyo, product marketing director for Netgear of Santa Clara, Calif.

Louisiana Duck Split
Conversation regarding the end of the season was noticeably absent as we made our way back to the truck. Whether it was denial of another year gone by, or simply living for the moment (and the remaining four days), thoughts were still with the birds in the air, as necks craned and a second band of light rain began to fall.
