| In Nevada, Obama's message of 'new politics' failed to deliver
NOW Obama is trying to reach out to the Jew's. Seems he is still desperate after the Kennedy endorsments. Don't forget they have a long time history. and it is not all clean. Think for yourself… and vote as you choose if you make a mistake …well you will just have to live with it. ….and my opinion don't count either….. .
Coming Soon: SR to Release E-mail Exchanges ... (Not so fast...)
Update: After reviewing the messages and our options (none good), we've decided not to post the messages. Here's the situation: Of the 50 messages, a few have explicit photos embedded in the message. We can't publish those photos (one shows a toddler's penis). We also have a strong ethical policy against blurring or otherwise manipulating photos. Some of the messages are completely innocuous. The rest of the messages only refer to attachments. Those attachments are explicit, so we can't publish them. We've also gone through each message to blur e-mail addresses for privacy reasons. So, if we don't publish any of the explicit images, and we refuse to blur, crop or otherwise alter them, all we're left with is a bunch of forwarded messages that say things like "take a look at this!" We decided that did not advance the story in any significant way.
Edwards is out of presidential race, insiders say
3pm GMT updateEdwards is out of presidential race, insiders say Roxanne Escobales and agenciesWednesday January 30, 2008 Guardian Unlimited Senator John Edwards was set to drop out of the US presidential race today, leaving Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to fight for the Democratic nomination. Edwards notified a close circle of senior advisers that he planned to make the announcement at 1pm EST (6pm GMT) at an event in New Orleans that had been billed as a speech on poverty. His announcement will come just hours before the expected withdrawal of Rudy Giuliani from the Republican race. The former mayor of New York City is set to quit after poor showings in the first four primaries. In the latest Democrat primary, held in Florida yesterday, John Edwards gained only 14% of the vote, with Hillary Clinton polling 50% and Barack Obama on 33%.
Hip-Hop Rumors: R.I.P. Dr. West, T.I.'s New CD, Diddy's Heir, 50's New ...
Sad. I don't really have much else to say, you know? Read the story and send your condolences over here. Just as a footnote, there are rumors out there, because the cause of death hasn't exactly been revealed, but I am going to chill. I have respect for Kanye and definitely know that losing a parent is painful enough without gossip. T.I. GET BUSY ON NEXT ALBUM! Not sure of the origins of this one, but I heard that T.I. is bored while he is on house arrest. With nothing to really do, he's resorted to recording new songs in his home studio. They are saying this new album in progress is Paper Trail.

Malware Scanner, Web-Use Aid, Fun Garden
When it comes to computer security--and job security--why take risks? This month, I have a thorough but easy-to-use virus scanner, a Firefox productivity booster, and an engaging simulation game. The two freebies and the free trial also pose little peril to your pocketbook. A Second (or Up to 32nd) Opinion We gave a 2007 World Class award to the free online virus detection service VirusTotal.com, which scans files via dozens of third-party security programs (32 at last count, including big names such as McAfee and Panda). Now, you can skip surfing to VirusTotal.com's Web site; instead, run the service's equally free VirusTotal Uploader program, which is even easier to use than VirusTotal.com. Right-click the questionable file, select Send To, and choose VirusTotal from the send-to options.
